xoxo V-Day xoxo

Girls and Valentine's Day! Always exciting and fun. This year we bought gift bags to decorate for their Valentine Box for school. They had fun adding foam hearts to them and ended up with cute funny faced people with the mouth opening for the Valentine's to go in to. Bags.. $1.00. Foam sheets.. $1.00. Total Project $3.18 with tax. Woo Hoo!!!

Their Valentine's were as easy as downloading a template, adding a picture of them, and stapling a candy bar to the back.

It didn't take a whole lot of effort but we definately had a great time together making them. Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Finally found a diaper bag!

I finally found a diaper bag I like. So exciting because I've been looking everywhere. Thanks to ebay this one will be here in a few days. I really didn't want to go pink or too girly, and I love this color. Now I better get busy getting some other things ready. Only 7 more weeks to go!

31 Weeks

I know, it's been forever since I got on here. It seems like facebook keeps me up with everyone's doings so I have neglected my poor blog once again.

I have now entered my 3rd Trimester and wish I could say how great things have been going...
but I have been SICK!!! This baby has completely zapped my immunity to everything and I have not gotten well yet. Not icky pregnancy sick, but sinus infections, colds, deep chest coughs... I know, waah, waah, waah. I sound like a baby myself.

I am actually feeling pretty good this last week or so. Just achey back due to bulging belly, fatigue, and swollen feet. I can deal with all of that, no problem. The solution: STAY IN BED!

My family has been so good. They don't complain too much that my Christmas tree is still up, the dishes are still on the counter, and my laundry hampers are full. I'm just waiting for that nesting bug to kick in:) Hopefully that "bug" doesn't pass me by. That would be just my luck.

Scavenger Hunt - Start & Clue 1

Start of the Hunt

Clue #1

This sent them running out the front door searching the plum and apple trees.

Scavenger Hunt - Clue 2

It didn't take them to long to find the next clue. And Clue 2 sent them running into the house... although they were a bit stumped and checked the bathrooms first. Gracy finally figured it out. If you can't tell, it's the washing machine.

Scavenger Hunt - Clue 3

And it said...

hmmmm...

Scavenger Hunt - Clue 4

From the washer, they were led to the bookshelf.

And wedged between a stack a books was this clue...

Which led out to the garden. Zucchini Crisp of course.
